I
saw these two racers paired up for 1st Round, wishing each
other well. This is Jeff Bardekoff of Commack, NY in the
Plymouth and Ron Infantino of Nutley, NJ in the Camaro. |
Ron
is a medical rep for General Electric. His 1969 Camaro has
a 350" small-block, a 3-speed auto and a 12-bolt with
5.13s. |

Jeff
is a a commercial flooring contractor with JKB Services
in Islandia NY. His 1964 Plymouth Fury has a 426" Max
Wedge, a non-pushbutton 727 TorqueFlite, and an 8 3/4"
rear with 4.56s. |
Jeff
goes red here, and the disappointment is visable through
the back window. Tough way to lose, but we've all done it.

I've
always felt that race cars should have names. It gives them
an identity; it's why I named my Dodge. There were some
cool names at Atco this day, like the Midnight Rider... |
...Budget
Racing (notice the broken piggy bank)... |
|
|
...Mixed
Emotions... |
...Real
Gone... |
|
|
...Lightning Rod... |
...and
Shane Oaks' Ruff-n-Ready 1986 G/SA Camaro. This started
out as a 6-cylinder project car and look at it now. |
