Good race between Bob Bender over here and Kevin Fogerty over there. Bender has the 12.78 handicap and leaves with an .026 light. Fogerty has a 12.24 dial and leaves with an .020. Bender comes up short on the dial and runs .03-over to Fogerty's .01-over.
Dean Ribeiro (far) takes the win over Francois Periard. Ribeiro had a hundredth on the 'Tree and that's what did it. Both ran .03-over.
Billy Nees (far) had this race covered at both ends over Ken Robinson. Nees was .012 on the 'Tree to Robinson's dead-late .104 light, then ran closer to the dial.
Jeffrey Coyne (near) had the advantage at the 'Tree over Tom Auger and turned it into a win.
Ed Bednaz (far) puts a nice package together (.028 / .02-over) against a red-lighting Richard Preiser.
Ron Infantino has the stripe all to hisself as his opponent went red and lifted early.

Scott Gove (near) drilled Joe Cokinos at the 'Tree (.014 to .079) and the ran closer to the dial for the win.

Kelly MacKay (far) takes the win over Jim Harris
Sean Conway (far) and Howie Smith (near).
Neither wanted the stripe and both were bouncing and dropping the noses. In the end it was Smith getting there first for the win.
