Todd Fontana in the far lane and Vonnie Mills. Mills goes .01 over, Fontana goes .01 under. Mills moves on the Round 3.

Al Campbell in the near lane combined an .017 light and a dead-on with a 5 ET to take the win over Ray Bamond

Likewise with Marco Abruzzi: his .008 light, dead-on with a 6 takes the win over Wayne Horton.
Comp Eliminator Round 2: Sal Biondo had an easy win on a competition single when Anthony Bertozzi didn't answer the call.

Joe Carnasciale in the near lane had an .010 light against Darrin Bauder. Bauder came up late on the 'Tree and it was all over.
Don Eckel in the near lane and Frank Aragona. Aragone moves on here.
Calvin Hill gets there first to take the win over David Rampy
Stock Eliminator, Round 4: this was a tight race between the stick-shifted Firebird of Todd Hoven and the '98 Camaro of Sterling Simmons. Hoven had the 'Tree (.029 to .049) but ran .03 over the dial to Simmons, who was .01 over. Simmons MOV was .005!
