Still in Comp Eliminator qualifying, here's Lonnie Johnson getting the B/AA Dodge in at #25.
Round 2 of Super Stock class: Herbie Null (near) and Ed Schrader

Null takes it over a red-lighting Schrader in GT/FA.
Sam Biondo (near) and Bill Marshall were qualified almost dead-even in GT/CA but Marshall throws away a chance to take out The Original Terminator by going red.
Dave Thomas on an FSS/F bye.
Brittany Boltz (near) and Tom Sheehan in GT/IA. Tom had the 'Tree but it didn't matter: even if Brittany had been .000 her 10.488 still would have been out-run by Sheehan's 10.371.
SS/JA: Bob Cupp (near) had a good .039 light but still gets beat by the quicker ET and better .017 of Bryan Worner.
In the "hit the gas; it's green" dept., Bill Skillman's .159 light in the near lane takes out Roy Hill's .101.

John Armstrong loses here and looks great in the process.

Michael Allen on a competition single.
AA/AH: Gary Wolkwitz loses this one at the 'Tree to Bucky Hess: although Hess outruns Wolkwitz, it was only by a hundredth and Hess' light left him open. Gary could've snuck in there on a hole-shot.

Almost time for the jets!
Hanna Motorsports brought its three-car jet team to the Summernationals. We'll see them in action in a little bit...
